Zachary loves kuih bahulu very much! He can gobble up to 3 at one go.. since Chinese New Year is around the corner and kuih bahulu used to be made by my grandmother (the traditional way of course), I decided to scour the www for a trusted recipe!
I remembered chancing upon a recipe from My Kitchen Snippet and hence decided to go with her recipe..
This is my first try and thanks to Melinda who gave me 2 kuih bahulu mould as Christmas present..
* I omitted lemon zest and replaced 3 tbsp of melted butter with canola oil instead.
